V3 Gaming PC Announces "GPU-Optimized" Move 3DS Small Form Factor LAN Party PC with Support for NVIDIA® 3D VisionTM Technology

LOMITA, CA (August 18, 2010) - V3 Gaming PC, manufacturer of high-end computer systems, has announced a brand new NVIDIA® 3D VisionTM ready, small form factor, LAN party PC called the Move 3DS. The V3 Gaming PC Move 3DS system is lightweight and small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but provides enough kick to compete at the highest level. With support for liquid-cooled Intel Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 processors, as well as NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 460 graphics cards, the Move 3DS from V3 Gaming PC is proof that good things come in small packages.

Measuring just 11"x8.75"x7", the Move 3DS system is smaller than most shoeboxes and is conveniently transported to and from LAN parties. The diminutive size of the Move 3DS also makes it an ideal machine for use in college dorm rooms or anywhere that space is at a premium. Despite its relatively small size, the Move 3DS is stacked to the brim with the latest technology. The Intel H55 platform on which the Move 3DS is based supports all Intel LGA 1156 processors, including those in the Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 product lineups. The full PCI-Express x16 2.0 expansion slot on the Zotac H55-ITX WiFi board supports the latest graphics cards, including the NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 460. "The V3 Move 3DS enables the ultimate 3D Vision experience in a small form factor," said Phil Eisler, General Manager of 3D Vision technology at NVIDIA. "Adding 3D Vision glasses to the Move 3DS creates a life-like experience for hundreds of 3D games, 3D Blu-ray movies, 3D photos, and 3D streaming video. NVIDIA is thrilled to be working with V3 Gaming to provide new levels of 3D realism and performance for gamers." The Move 3DS also offers built-in 300Mbps 802.11n Wireless connectivity for those times when an Ethernet cable is not available.

"The small size but large performance of the Move 3DS makes it an excellent choice for anyone who needs the power of a full-sized desktop with high mobility," said Steven Chien, CEO of V3 Gaming PC. The company offers a default configuration for the Move 3DS that is "GPU-optimized", which focuses on the GPU rather than the CPU as the most significant performance-oriented component in the system.

V3 Gaming PC is able to pack so much performance into the small Move 3DS package thanks to a customized liquid-cooling system which sufficiently deals with the heat generated by CPU, memory, and surrounding components. Chuck Morris, System Engineer at V3 Gaming PC said of the liquid cooling system, "When designing the Move 3DS, we knew we were going to have to deal with certain heat issues due to the small form factor. Our custom liquid cooling system allows us to handle the heat in an effective manner, which not only keeps things cool, but lets us significantly overclock the components in the Move 3DS."

The Move 3DS is configurable with up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, solid state hard drives, the Intel Core i7-880 processor, and a Blu-ray optical drive. All V3 Gaming PCs are backed by industry-leading lifetime labor and technical support services, as well as a 3-year limited warranty on parts.
